Over The Mountain Festival

Begun in 2008 as an idea of a small group of individuals who believe in the importance and value of sacred choral music to singers and the community, OTM Festivals was brought to fruition by the work of an all-volunteer planning committee along with support of friends and sponsors.

This year’s guest clinician is Dr. Milburn Price, Dean Emeritus of the School of the Arts at Samford University who last served as our clinician for Festival 2016. Karen Payne Krekelberg will serve again as our accompanist.

This year’s répertoire includes some old favorites as well as Dan Forrest’s newest work, Ubi Caritas. Three movements of Franz Schubert’s Mass in G Major serve as this year’s centerpiece.
