After we write works of prose we know we need to edit for grammar, clarity, and conciseness. But revising poetry can be more of a challenge. You must consider rhythm, sound, line breaks, imagery, and so much more.
On Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. CT, See Jane Write is hosting a poetry revision workshop featuring award-winning poet Miriam Calleja. During this 1-hour interactive workshop, you’ll learn new techniques for revising your poetry and see how you can share your work with the world through chapbooks. Miriam will also discuss how to compose poetry chapbooks so you’ll know what to do next after you’ve revised your poems and you’re ready to share them with the world.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. CT. A recording will be available for anyone who can’t attend live.
