Steel City Men's Chorus "Still Singing Strong and Proud"

The Steel City Men’s Chorus is proud to announce our final show for our 10th season! Join us in celebrating a decade of bringing messages of tolerance, inclusion, and acceptance, through men’s choral music, to central Alabama.

This year, as part of our 10th anniversary season, we’ve scheduled our show to coincide with Central Alabama Pride, Inc.‘s Pride Week and we’re pleased as punch at the prospect of this partnership (say that five times, fast). You won’t want to miss this concert, as it will feature the world premiere of a newly commissioned song with music and lyrics by the very talented and wickedly funny Eric Lane Barnes

For this show, we are excited to announce two fabulous guest artists! First, the multifaceted performer, Sharon Cocx, “with the funny bone of Joan Rivers, the beauty of a taco and the charisma of a street dog”(so says her website)! Second, a new LGBTQ+ chorus just sprouting wings here in the Steel City, the Birmingham Treble Chorale. Sharing the evening with these awesome performers will be a treat, for us and for YOU.
