The Secret World of Bats

Bats are one of the most ecologically and economically important wildlife species on the planet; yet, they have such a bad reputation.

Bats are one of the most ecologically and economically important
wildlife species on the planet; yet, they have such a bad
reputation. This course aims to demystify bats and their unique
role in people’s lives. I will cover subjects such as echolocation,
flight, the transmission of human disease, white-nose syndrome,
and the economic importance of bats.
