UAB Green and Gold Invitational Track Meet

The UAB track and field team will kick off the new year by hosting a pair of meets at the Birmingham CrossPlex over the weekend with the Blazer Invitational on Friday and the Vulcan Invitational on Saturday. Both annual events will begin at 9 a.m. with the men’s shot put.

The lineup for the ninth annual Blazer Invitational includes SEC opponents Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State along with Conference USA opponents FIU, Florida Atlantic, Middle Tennessee and Southern Miss, among others. FIU and Florida Atlantic will compete in the fifth annual Vulcan Invitational as well, along with South Florida and Troy to name a few.
