WBHM Presents- Memories & Milestones: Black History "For My People"

Please join WBHM for MEMORIES & MILESTONES, a special Black History Month event on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Woodlawn Theatre. This event that aims to honor and showcase the rich literary contributions of Birmingham-born writer, Margaret Walker. This event will feature an authors roundtable, poetry reading, and discussion with voices from around the heart of Alabama. Randi Pink , a well known author and TEDx presenter, will lead the program as she interviews Dr. Maryemma Graham, author of The House Where My Soul Lives, the first complete biography of Margaret Walker’s life.
