Whittington Concert with Red Mountain Chamber Orchestra

Student winners of the Dorsey and Frances Whittington Competition will play at 3PM on Sunday in Munger Auditorium with members of the Red Mountain Orchestra.

The competition is named for two prominent teachers at the Birmingham Conservatory of Music, which merged with BSC in the early 1950s to form the current BSC Conservatory.

Dorsey Whittington was a world-renowned pianist and composer who was also the founding conductor of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
