The 54th annual November Organ Recital Series begins Sunday, November 4 with a recital by Caroline Robinson of Rochester, NY.
Caroline Robinson is a doctoral candidate in the studio of David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music. She completed her undergraduate work at the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Alan Morrison and additionally has studied at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse. Caroline Robinson is a doctoral candidate in the studio of David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music. She completed her undergraduate work at the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Alan Morrison and additionally has studied at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse. Caroline has been featured as a solo recitalist in many venues across the United States, including at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, St. Thomas Fifth Avenue, St. John the Divine, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC, and The Cathedral of St. James, LA. Her playing has been broadcast on Pipedreams, and Philadelphia-based public radio station 90.1 WRTI’s “Wanamaker Organ Hour.” She performed at the 2015 AGO Region III Convention and at several OHS Conventions. She is the Second Prize Winner of the National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance held as part of the 2018 AGO Convention in Kansas City, the First Prize winner of the 11th annual Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival (2008) and the 10th annual West Chester University Organ Competition (2010). Caroline currently holds the position of Minister of Music at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Pittsford (near Rochester), NY.
