This twice weekly class will cover the basics of yoga including skillful pose alignment, pose modifications to suit each body, mindful movement, guided relaxation – all while cultivating awareness of breath. The pace is beginner-friendly and will appeal to those interested in trying yoga for the first time and those who enjoy a simple practice focused on the fundamentals. Most abilities welcome, expect to get up and down from the floor 3-4 times and movement at a slow to moderate pace.
