Ecstatic Dance Bham

Ecstatic dance is freeform movement, with the beat as your guide. Wear comfy clothes, bring a bottle of water and an open mind, and prepare to let your body move the way it desires. Feel free to pause and rest on the sidelines, enjoying the beautiful sunset at Railroad Park, then rejoin the dance again. At the closing of the event, we will pause in remembrance and celebration for those that can no longer join us in this dance of life, an opportunity to celebrate as a Birmingham community those we have lost. Led by organizer and meditation guide, Alexis Unger and DJ and storyteller through music, Wil Ledbetter (aka Illvis).
