This show is a brand new play, written and created by UM Theatre Majors as an artistic response to the raw sewage problems that have plagued Lowndes County, Alabama. It was created in conjunction with UM Undergraduate Research.
This play is an artistic response to the raw sewage issues in Lowndes County, Alabama. These students conducted research on Lowndes County that included exploring documentaries, podcasts, first-person interviews, newspaper articles, along with influence from Alabama folk songs, photographs, and information provided by the National Park Service about the current raw sewage issue in Lowndes County. Admission is FREE, however, tickets are required due to limited seating.
Due to Covid-19, UM has temporarily extended mask requirements. Masks that properly cover the mouth and nose are required for this event.
